A Partial Reconstruction of the New Hall Pattern Book
by Patricia Preller

Over 1800 illustrations of every known pattern,
including all the unidentified patterns, all except
a dozen in full colour, mostly nine to a page with
a brief description and cross references. In addition
there are two dozen categories of similar patterns
grouped together for easy reference and
identification; ie early gold patterns, enamelled
sprigs, silver lustre, bat prints, strawberries,
grapes, overgilt Broseley, etc. There are also
pages of painted pattern numbers, decorators'
tally marks, retailers' inscriptions and factory
marks.
This book is essential reference for anyone with
interest in late 18th and early 19th century porcelain.

The open book illustrating the quality colour
photographs of patterns, all with descriptions and
